Hope the week that went by was laden with truly exciting moments. The solutions to the past week's puzzles are as under:

2. Saira rejiged for queen's sake (5) - Arasi
3. Vessel that's of great use during travels, reduced to refer a sycophant (5) - Kooja
4. Clue no. 2 above drops an ace to somehow become a staple food item (5) - Arisi

6. You have to close your eyes to perform this natural act (7) - Thummal

2. Rana mia takes an article to construct the regal residence (9)
3. Does she possess a mellifluous manner of speaking? Going by her name, she should! (5, 5)
4. Last name of Raven's author; May sound like a native way of telling one to go! (3)
5. The celebrated creator of Paththumma's Goat (6, 8, 7)
6. It precedes the pachyderm's arrival - as per adage (4, 4)
7. Hat pal changed for a mode to deliver correspondences (6)
8. Day in Non Aligned Movement for a deeply reflective state of mind (6)
